The Game Project
The Game Project is a project which teaches us about hard work and strategy. We had approximately a month to create a game which would be playable and understandable to eight graders. We were allowed to create a game with any basic structure as long as it could not be falsely accused of copyright fraud.
What is the Game Project
I personally enjoyed the creative outlet this game allowed for as that made me feel like the game was actually something I created, which made it interesting in its own way. I also enjoyed the 3D modeling that was incorporated into it. The most difficult part of my game came when I needed to make one hundred and eighty angel halos out of wire. This took me a considerably long amount of time and left my hands pained. I also found the cutting of my cards to be especially difficult as I had never used one of those paper cutters before.

Final Reflection
I learned more about the game design process while also learning about mythology, which I have always been interested in. I learned about the mythological creatures to a greater depth than I have in the past and I wrote about the characteristics of the monsters within the mythology. If I had to change one thing about this project it would be the time constraints placed around it to make it slightly shorter. This was a good project that teaches us all about how the real world works and the ideation phases going into the design at bigger companies.
